History

Through it's first four years, Ledgend grew a strong reputation with fans and other colleagues in the music scene in the Richmond area. With their full sound & complete sound, Ledgend was able to write and produce it first CD called, "Ledgend, Simply Us". After the disband of this group a few years went by and through the ashes, is now the rebirth of Ledgend. As many fans would say, "Ledgend II".

Ledgend has the same tightness and fullness but with stronger vocal ranges and new directions in the music selections. Legend is now more a variety band which features more classic rock, beach, folk, Motown and is striving to be even better then before.

With vocalist/guitarist Steve Gilnett, he brings an extremely strong vocal range that takes Ledgend to a higher range. Also our newest member, Matt, who brings fresh and young ideas to the band to give an even broader range of sounds. Also reaching more of a fan base will put Ledgend on the map.

Randy and Jerry are still the original members of Ledgend, bringing the sound that fans remember, and feel confident of what the sound will be. With on going songs with fire fiddle work, and strong bass, Randy and Jerry tie the group together with Steve and Matt to make Ledgend a POWER HOUSE group.
