Randy Moore: Lead guitar, fiddle - vocals

 

     Randy’s music career has spanned over 35 years. A Richmond, Virginia base entertainer/songwriter has fronted bands such as Horizon, Phoenix, Spirit, & The Kwest band.  Randy’s career started in clubs in Cary Town in Richmond, Va. Throughout the 1980’s and 1990’s Randy has performed in local clubs, fairs, and private events.  Also worked with Mechanicsville Methodist Church performing and writing songs for services. Randy is also a self-taught Violinist that adds spice to the band. Randy has also worked with Davy Jones of the Monkees.  

    Off stage Randy and wife Connie enjoy travel, home projects and spending time with family. Music interest lies in Classical, New Age, Big Band, Jazz, Country and classic rock. Music influences are: Alabama, Cecil Hooker, violinist from SNUFF, Va Beach Va, Yanni, Jimmy Buffett, Tim Janus, John Denver, Suzanne Siani, 2002, Brooks and Dunn, and Willie Nelson. 

   Thanks Pop for the music in me and the outgoing personality you gave to me. You will live in me forever.

  Thanks Mom for keeping me grounded all these years and helping me to make the right decisions.

Jerry Lee: Bass guitar, guitar - vocals

   Jerry is a native of Nashville, TN. With a special love of Rock & Roll music, he started playing music at a very young age. Jerry has performed with many local groups, either as a member, or just filling in to help out. Jerry's favorite past time is playing music for benefits because he loves helping other people. One of his favorite gigs was playing with the Rae Sunshine Band for the WXGI country music shows.

Steve Gilnett: Rhythm guitar - vocals

Steve started playing music at the age of 12. Once the drivers license was in his pocket, he laid down the guitar for awhile. While living in southern Florida, Steve picked up the guitar once again and hasn't stopped since. He is co founder of the Inner Faith Band, a Christian group in the Richmond, VA area. Steve was blessed to have been able to play music with  Ervin T Rouse, composer of the Orange Blossom Special; and the father of Bluegrass, Bill Monroe. Steve is a published songwriter and has recorded in Nashville, TN, and Chicago, IL. He has been a deejay on WXGI, 100.3 Cat Country and WCLM on the Big John Trimble Show with the a show called 'The Virginia Sound Show'.

Matt: Drums  

Matt is the newest member of The Ledgend Band. Influenced by Fred Satterfield, former drummer with the Oak Ridge Boys, Matt started playing drums at 9 years old. After 19 years of sitting on a drum stool, Matt still has a great passion for music. He enjoys playing everything from gospel, country, Motown, to rock and roll.  Matt lives in Glen Allen with his wife Jessica.
